AI Summary

A forensic anthropologist, Dr. Temperance Brennan, teams up with FBI agent Seeley Booth to solve complex murder cases by examining human remains. While Brennan relies on science and logic, Booth trusts instinct and people skills. Together, they tackle unusual crimes, often involving decomposed bodies, blending procedural investigation with character-driven storytelling and evolving relationships within their team at the Jeffersonian Institute.

My feelings, thoughts, and opinions

This is the second time I’m watching this show. The first time, I was around 18, and I remember feeling incredibly upset when it ended. Nothing particularly difficult had happened in my life back then, so that moment stuck with me vividly; I can still picture exactly where I was and how the room was set up.

I love this show. Even though it isn’t very factual and is highly romanticized, it gives real meaning to the work the characters do. In a strange way, it also creates an unhealthy, but somehow comforting, sense of numbness toward death.

The storyline between Booth and Dr. Temperance Brennan is better than any Maxton Hall season I’ve seen. You don’t even want them to kiss at first; you just want them to fall in love and build a life together after only a few episodes.

I will definitely be watching this again in a few good years so I can relive the joy again.
